The LÉOST laboratory is one of twelve research and technological laboratories of IFSTTAR-COSYS department - Components and Systems. It aims to carry out research involving the areas of Engineering science and ICT - Information Communication and Technologies. These researches contribute to the emergence of new applications of communication, tracking and monitoring in the areas of road, rail and guided transports (trains, subways, trams, cars, buses). And also to contribute to the development of safe and effective transport, accessible to all people.
The laboratory scientific ambition is based on a synergy between fundamental and applied researches based on academic disciplines such as computer science, automatic, signal and image processing, relevant to CNU sections 27, 61 and 63.
The research activities of LÉOST are primarily relevant to Axis 1 "Analyze and innovation for sustainable and responsible mobility" of the contract and performance objectives signed with its ministry from 2013 to 2016 . Research is conducted in partnership with stakeholders in the academic and industrial fields.
Regularly, the LÉOST laboratory, welcomes students of Master and engineering schools for internships PFE , doctoral and post- doctoral students and contractors on projects .. We contribute to the dissemination of research in several Master and engineering schools.
